A little about me......

My name is Sandy Metcalf

I am a writer first published as a teen, last, have two stories in a book we in the dog world did for Lab Rescue called Heart Dog Diaries 1 in 2000.

I also wrote and developed a new way to rear and train puppies Called Alpha Training and Alpha Respect. I have authored tons of breed papers and training and behavior manuals.

But I decided after my divorce to write a book on divorce as like what I know about dogs I just had to do something with all I have learned in the process. And I found no book on the subject that was not boring and dry and has none of the real feelings watching your world fall apart causes. The loss the confusion the shock that can prevent you from taking care of you! The overwhelming need for a support system to talk to, to cry to. It is so important in the healing process.

Since my divorce I have found many stuck people in the in between of going on and afraid to, can't go back there is only forward or you stay put.

From my book {Divorce is a process like anything and has set behaviors that we all go through, if we know that at the get go we are better able to cope. One thing you have to do on the female side anyway is not feel the bad guy if you stop trusting your mate who you are getting divorced from, or him doing it to you, both makes no difference while you do not want to turn into warring camps you do want to realize you are no longer on the same team, he has his needs and agenda and you SHOULD have yours because no one will look out for you but you}

This book will lay out some ideas and life changes you can make to get back to you and help heal forgive move forward and meet the person you want to when you are ready. But more than a book on how to date or find Mr/Ms Right- it is a book for finding yourself.
